We stayed at the Warwick Arms hotel 16th to the 20th June this year, the location was perfect for the castle and town centre, we asked for a room on lower floor and with a shower only as misses cant get into bath. We were given a room out in the courtyard, lovely room comfy bed and yes only a walk in shower, the breakfasts were plentiful usual stuff cereals fruit and cooked full breakfast, only one small item was missing at breakfast A TOAST RACK stops toast getting soggy had to send toast back once. all in all a very good hotel for Warwick and surrounding area

Room Tip: if you require anything ask and the hotel will do their best they can to accommodate

On a day visit to the university we took a family room. I can' disagree more with the negative review I read. It was a large room in comparison with others we have stayed at, a large bathroom , comfortable beds and the usual facilities. The staff very very welcoming and helpful, without being obtrusive. We eat out in the evening, but the beer was well kept and reasonably priced and breakfast very good.

We booked two nights (Thurs & Fri 5/6 Jun) to enable us to attend a family wedding. The room was very small, the bathroom equally tiny with a shower that barely proved adequate. The staff, however, were friendly and helpful. My overall opinion is the the total cost of our stay did not reflect the standards on offer.

Tiny family room. Minuscule bathroom shoe horned in with bizarre and noisy plumbing system. TV in daft position for viewing. Plug in radiator. Condensation on window and badly in need of redecorating. Service and breakfast fine...room way overpriced

The hotel is located on the High Street and is very convenient for a visit to the castle (which we have done several times before but not on this occasion), which is just behind, and for all the restaurants and pubs. The main areas have just been decorated, so despite the slightly forlorn appearance of the exterior building, the lounge and bar areas are modern. The slightly creaky stairs and the low ceilings remind you this is an old building, which I liked. Our room was good value - only £60 including breakfast, and I have paid twice as much for rooms far less comfortable elsewhere. Room fairly newly decorated; the usual coffee/tea making facilities, firm bed, flat screen TV. The only negative was the small shower cubicle in the newly refurbished bathroom. It was really small and the shower head could not be adjusted, so you had to use a flannel as the water didn't reach further down than your shoulders. Bizarre..... The breakfast was the usual cereals, toast, cooked breakfast. I would like to have seen some fruit salad and continental style breakfast offered as I am not an English breakfast fan, but I am guessing this is at odds with the variety of guests' requirements. My husband was more than happy with it. The staff are very friendly; particularly at the front desk, as are the servers at breakfast, although service was a bit slow and when we went down to eat there were a lot of uncleared tables. I suspect this was due to lack of staff rather than lack of willing. The restaurant is closed on a Sunday, which is a shame as the menu looked nice. There are plenty of other restaurants in the vicinity, including a Spanish restaurant, several Indian restaurants, an Ask pizza and Pizza Express, and a great Thai, which was where we ate. The car park is a bit small but if you ask at reception, even though it appears full they will let you park in the courtyard. All in all would recommend.

Stayed here for one night as I was getting married the next day at the Registrar's a few doors away! Staff were more than helpful on several occasions. Helped me with a late check-out and car parking. Lovely breakfast too. Only downside was the feeble shower! Loved the quirkiness of the place and being right in the heart of Warwick is a massive bonus. Lovely place.
