I took some friends (from abroad) to have a 'dim sum' lunch. The variety of dim sum available was spoilt for choice we had 13 'dim sum' dishes (a bit like tapas) and 2 main rice dishes between 5 of us. The food was served hot and tasty, we had stacks of bamboo steamers on the table. My friends enjoyed themselves and could not fault anything.

Wife and two Teenage Grandchildren had a pre-Theatre Set Meal which proved to be excellent. The service was also superb. One of the nicest Chinese meals enjoyed in Birmingham. Obviously very popular with Asian community.

Looked for a decent chinese restaurant on trip advisor and picked this one.

Overall summary was food was bland and greasy.

The actual restaurant surroundings are drab

The Yuk Sung starter was very greasy and we had to apply pepper for taste.

One of our dishes was chicken chow mein where the chef just added chicken to the top of the dish where you could see it was processed and completely tasteless!!

The chilli chicken saved the day but we left disappointed

Ordered a takeaway, chicken was rock solid and had obviously been refried 2 or 3 times. Could not even cut the chicken, will never visit again, worst Chinese.

I like the dim sum dishes very much. The service is pretty good. Some female staffs will equalize the environment i supposed.
Will come again...
