“Now "Miss Vietnam", but still great”

Back again for another taste of Vietnam. You'll need to look for "Miss Vietnam" as this place is now under new management with a new menu. It is woefully under patronised! Of all of the restaurants down the Hurst Street area this is my favourite for the food alone, but it remains a mystery why this place isn't busier. The food has a more rustic and fragrant taste than the Chinese and Korean places it rub shoulders with. Go!

I've been here a few times & it is very good. Finding it's feet at first but they seem to have got their rhythm. Initially it tried to overcome the lack of knowledge on Vietnam food by offering English too. They are going away from that & rebranding as Miss Vietnam with a pretty much wholly Vietnamese slant. The Pho ( pronounced fer) is a meal in itself & excellent. We shared a few dishes & one was a fish dish served with coconut of some kind - delicious. Highly recommended not least as those who like to spice up can & those who don't can leave it on the side.

Been here twice now, both times on a Saturday night. Both time we were pleasantly surprised.
The service was very good, didn't have to wait very long even though it was a Saturday night.I had the Vietnamese pork spring rolls as a starter, very tasty which came with a nice dip.For my main course I had a beef noodle brother, again very tasty.
The Vietnamese sailing beer is very good also. Will be going back again.
