“Whats the point of a reservation??”

Booked reservation 6 months early for my son and his friend, who were going to a concert at the arena. Was quoted set amount and received confirmation. Asked for twin beds and was told this would be accommodated. Couple of months later, contacted hotel to say we needed a single room also and they added this to the reservation. When they arrived and tried to book in, they were told they were very busy and unfortunately all the twin rooms were taken, and they all ended up having to pile in to one room (for which they also overcharged him) I contacted them the next day and was told it was unfortunate that they had a big party of guests that weekend...and had been overcharged. 'Making a reservation' must mean something different in the hotelier business!!! Will not be using them again!!!

Booked this hotel as had an early morning flight and the fact that within the price of £62 we got 5 nights parking included. Modern hotel, comfortable bed, great shower, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Just over 5 minutes walk to the monorail to get to the airport. Lovely pub The Little Owl is a comfortable 20minutes walk away. Would definitely stay here again if we had an early flight

the staff were very friendly and helpful listened to needs towards my disabled daughter, including food, but the cooked breakfast (except toast you did yourself!) was cold, "hot" plates were kept under a cover but were only room temperature and the food kept in the heated trolleys was tepid at best, no we weren't down late, this was 8am just an hour after breakfast started and thank goodness we didn't go down at 10 which is when they start clearing away. The orange juice on day 1 was nice, 2nd day too dilute, more like squash. Very handy for NEC, airport and station. Parking charges £7.50 per night. VERY strong smell of discinfectant in corridors and curtains shut after being cleaned. Tea/coffee in room, no bottled water which would have been nice instead of £1.50 for small bottle in reception

this trip was purchased as a groupon deal which included dinner on 1 night and breakfast each morning.we arrived late Friday afternoon and went straight up to our room. on the way to the room there was an overpowering smell of disinfectant. the room was dark as the curtains were closed after the room was serviced?? this caused a bit of a problem as there was an extra bed in this room and we bumped into it. the menu hasn't got a great choice but the food was ok.
.when we finally went back to our room we watched tv for a little while then went to bed as the room was quite cold.. the bed was uncomfortable as the mattress was very firm and the pillows not very plump so I didn't get much sleep.
breakfast the next morning was pretty much standard but a bit dry. we were out all day with relatives but it was late when we got back and we were hungry so went to the bar for crisps and were told they did pizza and sandwiches so ordered pizza and it arrived at our room soon after we did and it was delicious. still didn't get much sleep because of the bed. as I mentioned before about the other bed in our room being a bit of a problem. it was at the foot of the double we were in and to move about the room you had to squeeze between the foot of the single and the wardrobe thing through a gap of about a foot wide which caused much banging of knees.
breakfast the next morning was fresher than the day before. the hotel was clean and tidy but quite basic and the staff were very friendly and helpful

More than happy with this hotel. Booked through LateRooms for a bargain £27 per night for a double room. Room was clean, nicely (although to a budget) furnished, and within walking distance of the NEC complex. Staff were all polite and friendly, could not fault the stay at all.

New to this brand. Think I was expecting a full on ramada. It was ok but for me a bit basic and a bit minimal I can't decide if this is a budget trying to be full service or a full service which is not quite there. Bed was comfy. Staff really friendly. Within this price sector I'd compare it to the nearby premier inn. It was much much better than the premier inn but in fairness was also £20 more. I would stay again if it was just a one nighter. There was a lot of noise in the night which is why I didn't give four. I appreciate this is due to other guests and not hotel. But the building seemed very echoey and stompy in the rooms above / next door

We stayed for night but were more than happy with the Hotel. Very modern and clean,it was ideal for the LG Arena. The room was comfortable,the dining room/bar was one room so people were having to sit at the dining tables when the bar got busy, could do with more seating in the bar but other than that it was great. The breakfast was fab and the coffee machine was fantastic(a great cup of coffee) We will definately return, staff were very helpful and polite.
