I had heard good things and with so few Chinese restaurants locally, I was looking forward to the meal.
I was pleased to see that even early on a Thursday night it was extremely busy. The staff were friendly but the service was ridiculously rushed. It was almost like being in a fast food restaurant. We'd only sat down before a waiter was taking our starter orders.
The food arrived quickly and the quality was mixed. The prawn toasts were hot and fresh, duck pancakes enjoyable. The yuk sung was not appetising at all - like a puréed mush of unidentifiable meat. We swiftly moved onto mains. Not bad at all especially the beef in black pepper sauce. However it was all so quick I was too full to eat a great deal.
So, food not bad but doubt we'll return.
