Description: "Perfectly sited in Brindley Place, Thai Edge is a smart, very modern restaurant, with white decor and masses of flowers which are flown in from Thailand, as is much of the decor. You will receive a warm greeting - which is part of what makes this spot a favourite among the mixed, trendy clientele, from students to professionals. What's cooking? Dishes are beautifully served and you'll find all your favourites on the menu, like three types of satay, Thai fish cakes with cucumber salad sauce, spring rolls, spicy minced prawn on toast, and chicken galanga, specialities like steamed seabass with spicy and sour sauce and tamarind sauce, stir-fried beef, chicken or seafood with fresh chilli, lemon grass, basil and pineapple. Of course, there are pad thai and a plethora of noodle and rice dishes. Four set menus. This is one place you'll return to again and again."

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal again here, very reasonably priced (the service charge was already added to the bill which we don't usually like as we prefer to leave what we think suitable- so they actually would have received more by not adding this automatically)
The meal overall was beautiful and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Visited here with family, the service which we received was poor and when receiving the bill was a shock over priced to say the least, will not be visiting again.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Went late on a midweek night so place was relatively quiet but service still attentive and we were not the only customers.
We went for a seafood starter which came with a choice of dips, was very nice albeit a tad small. For main we had a mixed seafood dish (hoo mak Thai) and also a chicken dish. Both were good but the seafood main was excellent

This is a nice Restraunt with nice touches of Thai etiquette, the food is consistent and flavoursome if lacking much of the authentic spice of true Thai cooking. The dishes are presented very nicely with good touches such as sculpted veg etc. some nice wine choices to be had as we'll.
If your looking for a truly Thai experience then this is not the place, but if your looking for Thai for the uninitiated or a little fastidious then this place serves the purpose well.

We decided to have a meal at Thai Edge at the last minute on Saturday - we did wonder if they would be able to accommodate us... its was fine and we taken straight to a table. It quickly became very busy but the service was efficient. The menu is vast... and its not easy to make your choices quickly. There are set menus for 2 or 4 but we decided to each pick a different starter and main and then share. The food was delicious. The couple we were with had not tried Thai food before and they were impressed and will definitely go and recommend to others. We had eaten there before - a weekday lunchtime... but Saturday evening was better as It was busier and the atmosphere was better. Its not cheap... but its not over price either. Its worth a visit.
