Myself and a friend recently stayed at this hotel as we were attending a hen party on the saturday night and wanted to make more of a weekend of it i.e. shopping/exploring Birmingham. As is typical with premier inns, our room in the Waterloo St premier inn was of a good size and the beds were very comfortable. Despite the city centre location we did not experience any major external noise (other than the chimes of the nearby cathedral which were actually quite enjoyable!) Tea and coffee are provided in the room, although we needed to ask for more as only a couple are initially provided.
During our stay we ate at the restaurant onsite; we had a lovely meal which was good value for money, although it would have been nice to have a wider choice of dishes. It took only 2 minutes to walk to the main shopping area and a 15 minute walk to the main bar/club areas at night (or 5 minutes in a taxi). Would definitely stop here again.More
