“A pleasant stay at an excellent rate”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2013

The checking in procedure is fully automated, which I like, but there are people on hand to help, if needed. The room was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was excellent, and it was a peaceful stay. The WIFi charges are very reasonable (30 mns per day free, £3 for 24 hours) and the cleaning staff did an excellent job. This is a great, city centre location at a very affordable price.

Booked well in advance again to get a decent price and re-visit this branch of the chain. Wanted to ring in and say that I would be late checking in, just as a courtesy, but there is only an 0871 number, so didn't bother. I arrived shortly before midnight and the room was still available, so that was good news. The room was really clean and tidy. The fan in the bathroom and the shower gel dispenser didn't work. I could have told the staff, but I didn't want them moving me to another room so that they could get the electrician in.

I had difficulty sleeping on the first night probably due to the new bed syndrome, as the place was very quiet and I could hear little noise from outside, surprising for a Friday.

A place to return to, as I have!

Usual excellent customer service from premier inn. Excellent full english breakfast - all you can eat for £8.25. Immaculately clean throughout. Staff very helpful and friendly especially (who was floating about the dining room, and bar each morning, and was willing to offer any useful information regarding sightseeing etc) Location is excellent for all the shops and is only a 5 - 10 minute walk from all the other amenities e.g. Broad street, Canals ,Icc, Mailbox, Theatres, etc etc. Would definately recommend this hotel but suggest you ask for a room at the front overlooking cathedral. It is much nicer!!

For the price I paid, I have no complaints.
The hotel was clean and it was very easy and quick to check in, central location, 5/10 min walk to shops, train station, restaurants and bars.
Ideal for city centre trips.

Great place to stay for a nice weekend in the heart of the city!

Room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was great - cooked breakfast wasnt at all greasy!

Staff very friendly!

Hotel was 20-30 mins from the airport but well worth the drive!
Cadbury's world only a 10 minute drive away!

This hotel must has been renovated as the rooms and communal areas were lovely. Food in restaurant lovely but no ability to order room service.

Only concern was very nosy room, would suggest internal room for those visiting.

Hello Maroon1221,

We are thrilled you have had such a lovely stay with us.
Our central location does indeed come with the disadvantage of minor external noise on weekends, but if you do stay with us again, maybe give us a ring the day before to request a specific room you'd prefer.
Also, I do hope you were aware that you could take food from our restaurant up to your room, even if we don't provide room service.

Regards

We stayed here recently for a Bon Jovi gig at Villa Park. The front desk were helpful with maps to reasonably priced city centre parking and the room was clean and functional, you cant ask for much more for £29 per night - a complete bargain.
