Does what the advert says clean, good beds, comfortable and despite being in the city centre quiet with no noise from the corridors or outside. The rooms are functional with all the basics to hand, The hotel is well positioned to reach all the central areas and shops. The attentive staff were polite and helpful. Good basic place to stay.

The hotel is situated in the town centre and only a 5 minutes walk from New Street station. You check in on an automated machine which dispenses a key card and room number – very impersonal. The rooms are basic and not very attractive, particularly the bathroom, but it was fairly quiet for a central location and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. They have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms and I found a cupboard down the corridor where you can borrow an iron. There was no safe in the room and you really should get unlimited free internet in this day and age. I went for breakfast one morning and was told it couldn’t be charged to the room and I had to go and pay at the bar in another room??? The cost of breakfast was quite reasonable but the quality was only average and there are so many other places to eat nearby that I didn’t bother with it again. If you fancy a beer in the evening I would especially recommend Pure Bar & Kitchen, the Post Office Vaults and the Wellington pub. All are very nearby and you will find an excellent range of craft beers, cask ales and bottles.

Great location a few minutes from the front of new street station. A standard premier inn with clean room, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Great staff. Room was considerably smaller than any premier inn I've ever stayed in, but it was still a great stay. Breakfast is the standard, good offering.

Stayed in this Premier Inn for work. Excellent location - v near New St station, and right next to Cathedral, so lovely views and lots of greenery. All the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to help me.

Unbelievably friendly staff great breakfast and brilliant atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave great advice and recommendations about local amenities. Great vegetarian breakfast and the chef couldn't do enough for us. Good vegetarian sausages and cheese omelette. Seemed to really enjoy their work. Thanks Matt for making us feel so welcome.
