This place was never going to be amazing, it's on the high street, practically opposite the train station so it's not quiet especially not with the single glazing and shaky balcony doors that don't quite close properly. I wouldn't pay full price for any of these rooms, I got it through a discount on laterooms and stayed there only for pure convenience of a 1 night stop off between train travel but having read other reviews I knew it wasn't' going to be the best place.
The room was spotless though and the bed was comfy, the tv was a fuzzy 5 channel box from the 90's and there was next to no signal for phone or 3G. All but 1 plug socket was for round pin plugs?! There was only 1 modern socket and that was on the floor in front of the door so you couldn't leave anything to charge in the room while you were out as you couldn't open the door with anything plugged in! Overall it was a reasonable hotel for a reasonable price, it was quiet once I moved rooms to the back courtyard rather than on the front strip but I wouldn't stay again.More
