Went with my husband and had a lovely afternoon tea, good food and great service. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes. Would definitely recommend. A lovely treat at a nice hotel in a good location.

We stayed at this hotel in june 13 as part of a w-end away with family, we asked if we could pick up our tickets to Cadbury world early, before check-in time, they could not have been more helpfull and even at noon our rooms were ready. All the staff had a smile for the children and were happy to help with any questions, we had supper and breakfast and apart from chef not having any Marmite for our grandsons toast ( whatever is he thinking ! ) lol, it was all very nice. we would recomend this hotel.

Room Tip: The back is quieter, however the other guest's may not be !

We booked in on a Saturday afternoon as we were attending a wedding reception. The young lady on reception was polite and very helpful. Our room was spotless, with a very comfy bed and lovely fresh smelling bed linen. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room; we did run out of milk, but after mentioning it to the young lady on reception, when we returned back to our room, we had a jug of fresh milk on the tray. Again, the bathroom was very clean, with nice fluffy white towels and complimentary toiletries; the shower was very powerful and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was lovely too. Choice of fresh fruits, cereals, the usual bacon, sausage etc, and pastries. As much tea, coffee and toast as you want.
I would happily recommend this to anyone, and i'd happily go back anytime.

Room Tip: i'd ask for a room on the 1st floor. These tend to be away from the function room, and we certai...

From the point of arrival to the moment of departure, I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism from all of the hotel staff.
Rooms were comfortable, Food was absolutely superb.
I had a number of colleagues staying at the Hotel who I'm sure would share my appreciation along with the large party of clients that we chose to entertain in the restaurant after first experiencing the food for ourselves.
Reasonable room rates and close proximity to the M42 made life easier to access the NEC for an exhibition that we were attending.
Definitely be staying again..........If I can get a room of course.

I stayed one night enroute from Bristol to Birmingham airport. I normally stop at one of the noisey and expensive airport hotels but found this is be a perfect answer. Just off M42 J2 and 25 minutes to the airport. Key words - Quiet, Comfortable, Good for Business (free wifi etc) and a freshly cooked breakfast to order. Recommended.

Stayed at this hotel recently following a mix up at a hotel in Solihull who did not have our reservation. They then booked us in the Westmead. Although it was further out from where we wanted to be it was probably a better class hotel so the distance was not a problem. The staff were very friendly, the rooms clean roomy and confortable and look forward to staying here again.
