Very basic poor menu choice, guests who are used to stay in Marriott's do not want to eat same food every hotel they go to - it gets boring! Sticky toffee pudding rock hard, mushy peas quite watery. Marriott 'Invigorating Shower' - not this one! How was your stay? Not interested...

I stayed here during a work visit to Birmingham and was truly valued and looked after for the whole week. Marriott should be very proud of the staff that work here, brilliant service and attitudes, nothing too much trouble. Food was gorgeous, rooms very clean and stylish, bar area and evening bar staff in particar were so friendly, it was truly refreshing to receive this kind of service from a large chain hotel brand in a busy city centre location. Only thing that let the hotel down was the tatty ceilings by the steam room and outdated slightly grubby changing rooms in the pool area, although the sports club staff were great and very enthusiastic. The pool area doesnt fit in decor wise with the other sparkly modern parts of the hotel. Would stay here again just because the staff were so attentive and the food fabulous, I had a very enjoyable stay!

Not just up to 4 star standard The room was not serviced properly, there was items left in the fridge from the previous guests no throw over the bed, no lining in the bins, tea tray not replenished, rise and fall chair not working so i could't see in the mirror to do my mac up and even if it did work the light was to dim to see anything, the hairdryer lead was to short to be able to see the mirror, Spa area changing rooms, special in the toilets was dirty around the floor edging, steam room dirty, grit on the floor and grout in need of cleaning. sorry but would be reluctant to stay here again was a nightmare to get to, over priced parking £12.00 on top of £130.00 per night room

Room Tip: I would ask for a higher floor as a flat top roof was not a great view, this was a shame as we had t...

Stayed here for one night, and I would rate it as one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The room was clean, tidy, spacious and had good decor. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the swimming pool was also beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. The only fault I found was that the car park was quite small and i would imagine that if the hotel had a wedding party present that the car park could become a tight squeeze. But apart from that I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Efficient, friendly, relaxed, pleasant decor, fast lifts, spacious rooms, clean shower and bath , breakfast cooked with care -poached eggs that were perfectly cooked AND hot toast.
The beds were comfortable, staff were helpful, the room was warm, the AC was quiet.

I stay in Birmingham often and this is the best hotel I have been in.

Room Tip: I didn't look at the others... maybe ask for a city view?

My friend and I stayed for a girly weekend break, we could not fault any area of this establishment the room was lovely and very clean we couldn't hear any noise which was great. The staff were exceptional and extremely friendly.
Reception were so polite and efficient, the lady behind the bar could not do enough for us and the concierge was brilliant, he directed us to venues which were just our taste. We had a fantastic weekend at the Marriott. We have decided to go every year :-)

A lovely hotel with car park at Fiveways. Luxurious room and efficient service in the bars and restaurant. Lifts and public areas very easily accessible. A short walk to Broad Street NIA the Mailbox and canals.
