I was only luck enough to stay one Night, But the staff were very friendly and Good. The room was very nice with great view of the center of Birmingham. The location is close to Shops, Great Restaurants, Museums. and Yes there is very nice Chanel system in the center of Birmingham . Great place to walk round. The food is good. with USA/ English style breakfast.

Looks pleasant inside and rooms are quite nice. Concierge was really helpful but reception staff not as much. Considering the high room rate was surprised that breakfast wasn't included. Don't even get a complimentary biscuit in your room to have with a cup of tea!.
Also surprised the wi-fi is chargeable.

Only hotel I have been to recently that didn't have fresh fruit available for breakfast ( and also provided what looked like cheapest supermarket sausages.

I stayed at the Hyatt fore one night for business. My room was very spacious, with a king size bed, mini bar, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, large television, good bathroom toiletries and bathrobe. Ceiling to floor windows gave a good view of the city. Very clean and a good restaurant and bar area.

We stayed at the Hyatt for one night, having previously stayed there about a year ago when visiting Birmingham before. The location of the hotel is excellent only a 5 minute walk to the shops and there are plenty of bars and restaurants a few minutes away at Brindley Place or a little further at the Mailbox.
The hotel’s staff are very helpful, I emailed them before our stay to request a room on a high floor so we could make the most of the view and they responded very quickly and were extremely helpful. We arrived before the check-in time and as our room was not ready concierge were very helpful and stored our luggage. Our room was pleasant, the décor is a bit dated but the facilities were good with a proper hair dry and iron and ironing board in the room as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was very comfortable and the bath room was clean and to a high standard. There were robes and slippers in the room although we only had one of each but when I asked reception house-keeping brought another straight away.
When we stayed last time the pool area was closed but it was fully open this time and was very nice indeed. It was very clean and modern and wasn’t too busy with a nice pool that was too crowded, a small Jacuzzi, a steam room and sauna.
We didn’t eat at the hotel but had an enjoyable evening meal at Wagamama’s at Brindley Place and we had breakfast at All Bar One, as we were on a room only basis, which was less enjoyable as my breakfast was cold when served. We did have a drink in the hotel bar which I didn’t find too expensive and the table service was good.
I would happily stay at this hotel again next time we are in Birmingham, it has a good location, nice friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

Room Tip: The views from the hotel across Birmingham are excellent if you get a room on a higher floor, we hav...

We decided to stay a night in the Hyatt as it was close to the NIA, where we went to see Cirque du Soleil.
We had found a good online deal that included breakfast with the room.

Check in was smooth and pleasant, we were offered a couple of different rooms one on the 9th floor and one on the 21st floor, we were informed that the room on te 21st floor was situated next to the lifts, we opted for the room on the 21st floor because of the great city views, we could hear the lifts but only very slightly....not a problem!...... The room was great, very spacious with a desk & 2 chairs and a reading chair in the corner, the bed was a king size ( i think) lots of space. The buffet breakfast in the morning was great as was the service......highly recommended hotel stay!
On the downside, we had chosen a non smoking room but it was clear that the previous occupant had been smoking in there.

Room Tip: the higher up the room.....the better the city view

We stayed in this hotel on business and were very pleased, overall.
We have been travelling a lot to Birmingham from India and this was definitely one of the better places to stay for business.
Overall, a very effeicient business hotel with a great location (not even a km from the New Street Station). Also, it is very close to the Bullring and Mailbox, presenting a lot of options for eateries and entertainment.
The only downside was that the rooms have a bit of dated feeling and Free wifi would have beena great addition for the business traveller

Room Tip: Good hotel to chose on business
