“Amazing romantic Break xx”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 May 2013

Amazing break with my boyfriend, from start to end we were smiling. Arriving at the hotel we notice it was quite busy as the man united football team & the WWE superstars where both stopping at the hotel. However the staff worked very quickly & treated us as if we were just as important as everyone else famous or not. The rooms are nice, big, and clean & beds are very comfortable. The views are the best part though they are amazing. Food at the hotel is a very high standard & not to costly. Pool & spa are lovely. We will defiantly be coming back.

Room Tip: ask for a high floor at the front of the hotel.

Great rooms, helpful staff, wonderful food and the spa is sensational! Really recommend this hotel to everyone. Its right at the conference centre, c;ose to restaurants and noce walk to shops. Its luxurious and well maintained.

Room Tip: Both views are wonderful but get a high floor

Have stayed here a couple of times before with work and was impressed by the level of service this time.
The room was clean and well equipped (toiletries, towels, ironing board ) although the toilet roll holder was a bit loose (not exactly a problem!) I was woken in the night by loud drunken people walking in the corridor but no other faults!
All the staff were professional and polite. Drink prices in the bar quite expensive!

Have stayed in a few Birmingham hotels while on business but this is the best to date.
The location is perfect for shops and restaurants and is a £5 taxi ride from New St Station.
Rooms are spacious (ask for high floor - great views) and well equipped with nice bathrooms. There are no ice machines but staff will bring an ice bucket happily.
Breakfast was lovely - just about all you'd wish for and staff happy to fetch anything you need.
Drinks were reasonable for this standard of hotel and the lounge area very pleasant to sit in.
Needed feather bedding replaced - this was done really swiftly.
Shop around for the best rate and enjoy!
Didn't have time for the spa but it looked lovely.

Room Tip: High floor

This is an upmarket hotel with a very nice atmosphere. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. This is a first class business venue, well located with good facilities. Would be happy to recommend this. Taxis right outside if needed or an easy walk onto the main strip, theatres etc. Food was good, I found parking a little challenging but that was because there was a big conference on at the ICC which is right across the street.

Room Tip: parking is a little challenging as it's right in the centre of birmingham, but the flip side of...

I booked the Hyatt for a first wedding anniversary treat and opted for a Club King Deluxe room. The room was amazing. We even had a complimentary bottle of champagne left in the room for our arrival. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very professional. If you're looking for somewhere a bit up market or want something a bit more special to mark an occasion then I would highly recommend the Hyatt! ***** 5 star
