stayed for one night whilst visiting friends round the corner. It was cheap and we didn't expect much, but when we arrived we were told our shower might not work. Ok, not a big problem until we get to the room to find it definitely won't work as it had been removed. We mentioned this and we're offered a different room, well why didn't you offer that in the first place!!

We went out for the evening and came back about midnight. The rest of the night was noisy, drunk people outside shouting and car noise right through until 5th. We mentioned this to the staff in the morning and they couldn't care less, didn't even apologise.

We won't ever consider staying in this place again, it was utterly terrible.

Stopped there for a night as we had a concert at the NIA and it was fairly close to it.
Upon arriving we were told of a surprose £100 deposit that has to be made in order to get the room, was this on the website? No. It was a new policy which they hadn't yet publicized, so legally they had no right to do this.
After that shambles we eventually got into the room, I felt like I'd stepped back in time. They had a tiny analogue TV (of which only Milton Keynes broadcasts that signal now, so I don't know why they didn't have freeview). The bed sheets were old, the window wouldn't even stay open!
Very bad night, would not recommend this place at all.

Stayed one night with my wife while we visited our daughter at the university. This isn't a proper hotel - it is 'motel' style accomodation with blocks of rooms with front doors either onto the car park or dingy outside landings. If you like the atmosphere of dingy tenament blocks - then this is the place to stay. The three start rating is a joke - and is 'self awarded' rather than via any approved systems (eg AA, RAC). Beds were threadbare mattresses with dirty blankets. Manager demanded payment in advance on arrival, plus £100 to 'secure the room.' We objected to this, but he gave the impression he couldn't have cared less. We were kept awake all night as taxis came and went through the small hours. The whole atmosphere was threatening and felt unsafe. People were hanging about, strange nocturnal activity taking place. I would have preferred to sleep in my car. I would never return here and don't think this establishment has any business to present itself as a 3 star hotel. Read the other terrible reviews - they are entirely accurate.

First odd thing is reception is round the back, the rooms are in blocks with there own doors like a block of flats. Room was a normal size with old style tv, tea and coffee, clean and tidy but a bit out dated and could do with a freshen up. Bathroom with bath and shower over, extractor fan did not work and the electric radiator had tape around the plug NOT GOOD!, bath panel seen better days rotten at bottom. Window hinges needed replacing so traffic noise was heard throughout the night. One a clock was woken by loud voices of people coming back from clubs and kept on for another hour at least so not much sleep. Beds had seen better days and had sheets and blankets on, pillows very flat. Radiator in room did not work.
Good point was free Wi Fi, but had to ring reception for pass code for it. Paid £74 for two nights and glad I did not pay more as it is not worth more.

Room Tip: do not have room 153 for points made in text.

i have stayed at this hotel for two times on buisness, and found the rooms clean and tidy.
I found both times of my stay some hen/stag party issue which did not cause my wife or me any problems, what impressed me about the hotel was the staff inparticular Adam the night reception guy who was most upset that our stay could have been spoiled by the issue i reasured him that it did not. We would stay at the hotel again, good staff these days are hard to find and i think they are a credit to this hotel thank you once again
