“Stunning!”

I went to a performance of Bach's St John's Passion on Good Friday. Bowled over by the sound and sense of space in this amazing building.
A wonderful experience which I plan to repeat...

“A world-class concert hall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

The best way to appreciate Symphony Hall is to attend a concert there. But even if you can't manage that, it's worth poking your head in to view the attractive and acoustically-excellent hall (opening times vary). It's a good end-point for the tour of the City Centre that runs from Victoria Square (Art Gallery, Town Hall, etc.), through Paradise Forum (old library) and along Broad Street (fabulous new library). If you keep walking through Symphony Hall you come to the canals: cross those and you're in Brindley Place, which is the perfect place for lunch/dinner/drink (and for going to the Ikon Gallery).

“Great venue...saw Runrig”

I had 2nd row seats, which were close to the stage. The sound was great, seats were comfortable. The security guys were friendly which is unusual and the bar wasn't too expensive.

“Gorgeous Venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 April 2014

The hall is beautiful, the accoustics brilliant, and it's in an easy-to-find location. I wouldn't like a seat in the circle at the top, it looks so far up and steep, but the stalls or first tier are perfect
