Went to see Don Williams on the 10th May, what a legend but also what a venue! Well laid out no problems accessing your seats, good acoustics, helpful staff and places to eat and drink should you need it!

Even though we had seats at the rear and high up it did not feel far away from the stage.
my only critisism is the confusing seat numbering.

The Symphony Hall in Birmingham is a great place to visit whatever your taste in music. The acoustics are first class, as you would expect of a Symphony Hall, and the rest of the Venue is just as good. The Bar & refreshment facilities are good and the toilets modern & clean. The seating areas are excellent & I found the staff very friendly, helpful & efficient. There are good car parking facilities nearby, but we travelled by train to New Street Station, which is a 10 minute walk away or a £4 taxi ride. We used taxi's both ways as the weather was wet & windy, taxi ranks are approx 50 metres away at both ends of the journey. All in all a great place to visit to see your favourite attraction at this venue, which also has a very good & informative website. I would thoroughly recommend this venue for a great night out. It will be even better once the current upgrade of New Street Station is completed.

A sincillating experience indeed. The acoustics in the NEC Symphonic Hall are world class. The Symphony Orchestra and the Choir gave very memorable performances.

Other than the Royal Albert Hall I can't think of a venue in the UK that comes close to the Symphony Hall. It is just the right size so there are not really any bad seats and the sound is excellent.
What a shame so many artists these days choose to do 1 or 2 nights at places like the NIA, NEC and London's 02 when they could do 5 nights here and their fans would then get to see and hear them properly.
