“Free JAZZ!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Symphony Hall is a joyous building to behold! Not only is it a conference centre, music venue hosting top line acts and home to the CBSO; every Friday evening at 5 pm you can be entertained with free jazz in the bar and listen to some wonderful musicians from near and far. There is also a coffee bar for light snacks.

“Great Concert Venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

A smaller than average venue with brilliant sound. It makes going to a concert a pleasure, you are not crowded in and its so clean. Would recommend to anyone wanting to see artists performing here. Recommend the left/right hand side of circle your seats are freestanding and you can position yourself to be comfortable.

“Best concert space in the world”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

It has long been my view that Sydney has one of the most beautiful buildings in the world the Sydney Opera House containing one of the worst concert spaces. Whereas Birmingam has the best concert space in the world inside one of the worlds ugliest buildings. So when you arrive ignore the concrete blocks and ugly blue painted steel because the Symphony Hall inside has world class acoustics and surroundings to enhance your experience.

We saw Steve Harley here last night and the venue was great. Sound good, and the views were also very good, even though we were in the gods! Staff very helpful.
