“Burt Bacharach - fantastic, best ever”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

Fabulous performance from a true legend, have always wanted to see him perform live and ths was his first visit to Bham. Booked tickets on the first day available and it was amazing. 86 years old and still charming with great personality and presence onstage. Please invite him back - soon

“Great venue”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Birminghams leading concert hall - great acoustics with their variable acoustic chambers, a good range of events there with comfortable seating all round.

I've sat in most parts of the hall and there is always a good view and sound (the sound middle back is great for an orchestra.

“Burt Bacharach concert at Symphony Hall”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

We've been going to Symphony Hall for around 10 years now to hear concerts. It's a great venue with terrific accoustics. We prefer to sit in the circle to see the stage from above. The price depends very much on the artist. You can book a table for dinner in the restaurant which serves excellent food. Otherwise I'd advise eating out in Birmingham before a performance as the cafeteria food doesn't float our boat.

“A real gem”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

We have lived in Brum for a while and have always looked at the Hippodrome as the premier venue to see something, that was until we went to see something here.

Granted the atrium is a mess compared to the Hippodrome but it all changes when you enter the venue proper. When compared to most venues it is so much bigger, more comfortable as well as being airier - it manages this without being too big and becoming anti-atmospheric like the NIA is.

Another thing to point out is that the prices for things here are a pittance compared to something elsewhere.
