It's a good place for kids i guess, we finished the whole tour in half an hour. Entrance was confusing, alot of congestion. The photographers were annoying. Kids venue.

This attraction only takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to go around and is very expensive. Make sure you take any 2 for 1 vouchers you can find (usually on kellogg's cereal boxes). On arrival there was a small queue that took an age to get through due to the fact there were only 2 staff taking money, maybe this was deliberate to make you feel you had spent more time there. The aquarium itself was very well kept and all the creatures looked healthy and happy. The glass tunnel was the highlight of the visit watching the sharks and turtles. En route a chap from Sealife wanted to take our picture so we could have a souvenir of our visit, the cost was £7, no chance mate I'll take my own. Even a fridge magnet was £4. Enjoy the visit but be prepared to pay.

Expensive trip unless you get a money off voucher. Still my one year old loves going. It is just the right size for him, takes about an hour and a half to go round. Anything longer and he is too tired and the new penguins are fantastic.

Was a good, interesting family day out but can be quite a lengthy wait if it's a busy day which also creates a lot on congestion once inside too

Hi there and thank you for your review.

We're glad you had a great day out with us and found the Aquarium interesting! We are a popular attraction during the Summer and would recommend visiting earlier in the morning or later in the afternoon if you would like the centre to be quieter. Booking online also lets you avoid the main queue and guarantees priority entrance!

Thank you for visiting and we hope to see you again soon!

There is an awful lot to see here but my one request to the management is please consider having adults only opening times. While we fully appreciate this is a family venue, it is impossible to enjoy the exhibits properly with hundreds of screaming, tired children running around. Also the queues are way too long but being so popular I guess this is inevitable. It is a superb attraction within a city setting so far from the sea and for that reason it must be educationally positive for youngsters to learn about creatures that live in and around the shores of the uk. I would definitely recommend this venue but be mindful of long queues.

Hi there and thank you for reviewing you visit.

I'm really pleased you enjoyed the attraction and seeing some incredible sea creatures from across the world's oceans right in the heart of the city! We really appreciate your feedback on how we could have made your visit more enjoyable with adult only opening times. We will take your feedback on board and look into options such as these going forward. As we are a family attraction we are visited by families with children of all ages throughout the summer holidays, and we would recommend visiting later in the afternoon or within term time if you prefer the aquarium to be a little quieter :-) Queues can also be avoided by booking online, where priority entrance is guaranteed.

Thank you for visiting and we look forward to welcoming you back soon!
