The hotel itself is nice looking - but impractical. For example, the bathroom door is 90% see-through so people can see you sat on the toilet from the bedroom. Also, the room lights are all connected to a central device, which once you have switched off all the lights, still stays lit! Definitely aggravating for a person who only sleeps when the room is dark - suffice to say I was left feeling unrested.
The biggest issue I faced was with the hotel policy around extended check out. If you would like to change your check out time from 11am to 12pm, you have to go downstairs on the day of checkout and pay £20 in advance. Now, I have no problem paying extra for an additional service, but if I am looking to extend my check out, why on earth would I want to get out of bed, get dressed, pay some money to check out, and then come back to my room? I might as well leave. I tried to get around this by calling them from bed on the day of check out, and asking to extend over the phone - but again got the same response. Pretty illogical I would say.
I won't be staying here again.
