A great stay, very good room, superb breakfasts, and wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. Terry and Katherine do it very well. We had a fantastic time in this B&B. Lots of space to relax, we felt very welcome.

We made a last minute booking at Elmdon Lodge as we were visiting our daughter who is at Birmingham University. We are so pleased we found this B & B. From the moment we were greeted at the door by Katherine, we knew we had found a great B & B. Katherine's friendliness is exemplary. We felt we had known her for years!! We were fortunate that they let us take our two doggies as well and they were well pampered and they even made friends with her little dog, Dylan who was adorable. We booked a family room which was lovely with ensuite. Breakfasts were plentiful and superb. Katherine and Terry run an excellent B & B and we can't wait to return. Thank you once again, Katherine and Terry for a lovely stay. See you again soon.

I found this b&b through trip advisor, the reviews were very good. I emailed them as we were a party of 3 adults and a small child wanting to stay in a family room with a limited budget. I was emailed back promptly and was told there was no problem accomodating us. The price for the room for 2 nights was less than one night in the hotel chains. We caught the train to Acocks Green and the b&b was easy to find and just literally 4 minutes walk away. We had such a lovely welcome, the room was lovely, very comfy beds, we had an en suite toilet and shower, breakfast was very good and plentiful. Nothing was too much trouble. What a fantastic stay and will definitly be back when I come back to the area. Thank you so much Katherine and Terry

it has been a while but Katherine remembered me (and the dog) and gave us such a warm welcome. Our room was snug (lovely crisp sheets) and quiet. Breakfast plentiful but best of all SO friendly. Little Millie (of doggiepubs.org.uk) fame was thrilled to return and thought the breakfast tit bit delicious!

Room Tip: I think most rooms would be quiet... lots of parking both private and on the road

Stayed at Elmdon Lodge for one night chosen because it was near where my friend lives who I was visiting with another friend flying in from Dublin. Did not know what to expect but as it was only one night, thought it would be fine. Having now stayed it was more than fine. Located on a quiet road, with spacious bedrooms, comfortable beds and absolutely spotlessly clean - it is an excellent place to stay. Katherine and Terry the owners make you feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble in fact Terry dropped us at our friends house. Many thanks to Katherine and Terry for making us feel so welcome.

Room Tip: Don't worry all rooms looked great! My room had a double and two singles beds perfect for a fam...

We are a local couple who got married in June 2012. As we live together I the bride needed a hotel to stay at and Katherine and Terry were fabulous. They accommodated myself and both of our families and friends for the weekend. The facilities are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and breakfast was amazing! The friendly homely atmosphere was so very welcome and kept everyone relaxed and at ease before our wedding. I cannot recommend Elmdon Lodge highly enough, our families will always have a friendly place to stay when visiting in future. They really did allow us to use their home as ours. We definitely recommend this wonderful place to stay and are looking forward to returning for our anniversary!!
