“Great Value Attraction ”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014 via mobile

Stumbled across this place after the national sea life centre only took a couple of hours to go round.
What an absolute gem it is. Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Plenty to see. Lots of space to move around without feeling crowded or rushed. Easy to park as well.
Superb value for money. Well definitely go back for a full day.

“Fun day out for little ones.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

Little hidden gem in a big city. Easy to find, lots of free parking with easy access to Canon Hill Park. This centre has a nice variety of animals to look at. Reptile house. Well stocked interesting gift shop, small play area and reasonably priced cafe. Little ones love it. Older ones a bit bored with it as visited many times. I love it! Easy buggy/wheelchair access all the way around. Nice way to spent a couple of hours for a reasonable fee.

“Very good value”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

The best thing about this attraction is the price - it really is good value. I took two children and it was only £11.50.

There is a lot more here now than there was years ago (when house rats and mice were on display!) but it's still a relatively small site. Most of the enclosures are glass which means I felt like I was looking at my own reflection for most of the day (not worth paying for that!). There's really only a couple of hours worth of things to see. Very young children may linger longer, or race around!

The animals seem well cared for and the place seems to be (rightly) set up for their comfort rather than ours.

I took the children for a meal at the cafe. Not bad value but the food was really not very nice. It was hot and freshly cooked but I have no idea what the chips were fried in. I stole one.... and only one!

“Not much to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 August 2014

It cost us, a family of 4 £17.00 and it only took us an hour to go round and see all the animals. It's good for passing time but you wouldn't be able to spend a whole day here.
