“Makes me feel like Christmas is here”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 December 2013

Went to the Ex Cathedra Christmas Music by Candlelight concert. It was absolutely wonderful, if you like to hear a wonderful choir and you like Christmas then this is the place to go. Most of the songs I haven't heard before but they do sing a couple of Christmas carols, and the readings/poems are entertaining and humorous.

“Beautiful Square and Historic Church”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

As a frequent visitor to St Paul's square I must say that this another hidden gem of Birmingham... and within the jewellery quarter the word gem is very appropriate. St Paul's is steeped in history and is open to everyone to wander in. There is a good array of information supplied in the foyer about events around the city. The church itself is worth a visit and there are some fascinating stain glass windows to ponder upon. St Paul's square is beautiful and provides peace and tranquility to a weary traveller or hardworking professional. Dotted around the Square and up the side streets are an amazing range of pubs, restaurants, sandwich bars and other eateries. You are close to the city yet a world away. There are also chances to see some of the locks of the city within a short walk. Well worth an explore.

“A architectural delight”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 January 2013

Religious or not, this building is a gem to behold. Set right in the heart of 'Brum' it has withstood the onslaught of WW11 and my wife berrating me whilst I ate a cheese sandwich when sitting in its grounds. OK -Why was she berrating me? You'll have to pay money for the next chapter.

This is a lovely area with great bars around it, beautiful church taking the centre stage of the square. This area is home to the iconic Jam House too!
