Run down, not much to do for teenagers. Teenage kids bored easily and just went on phone. Gets worse every time we visit. Dissapointing

we were at a loose end on sunday prior to going to the NIA we found this park and we went for a walk even though there was a brisk wind and rain was threatening, we had a look around the visitor centre first then we set off down the track through the paddock area and down the slope, it was good to have a walk in a park like this as you don't always get the chance, the play area for the kids is a great set up

We really enjoyed it here with our children, plenty to see and do at our own pace and if I remember correctly it was free!

The valley walks are extensive, I would advise accompanied walking as it is a large scale site with little foot traffic at times. There is a family-centred information centre which is well worth a visit. Free car parking is plentiful and there is a small cafe shop with usual amenities. Unrelated to the site there is a farm on site with a small gift/ bric a brac hut, along with pigs, ducks, geese, goats, etc. it's lovely in good weather for young children and there are some picnic tables nearby

I have been to Woodgate valley on many occasions in the past.
The walks are very enjoyable in the countryside environment.
But, I am afraid that myself and my grandchildren on this occasion was disappointed the animal sanctuary
