The hotel is clean, comfortable room of decent proportion with all the necessary facilities.
My only criticism concerns the breakfast arrangements.Firstly, the restaurant is not big enough to cope when a large number of persons arrive at the same time and accessing the buffet becomes a bit of a scrum.
The individually cooked eggs is nice touch but many people had eaten(or it had gone cold) the rest of their breakfast before eggs were ready.

I also did not like the arrangement for tea/coffee.A member of staff pours you the cup of choice on your arrival and yes you have guessed it,when you return from buffet, your beverage is cold.To get a second cup one often has to chase the THERMOS JUG carrier around the room.

Another basic catering mistake will be easier to correct. If the hot plates are stacked a foot above the holder then they are cold when the diner collects them.Need to be kept lower as cold plates cool food quickly.

Would I stay again? Yes but I think I would breakfast elsewhere as there are many places within a short walk.

Room Tip: Do not select a room overlooking the front as there is a very noisy bar/club across the street which...

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Brindleyplace for one night in early April 2012.

The hotel delivered everything we expected from it at the price we paid. The room was a reasonable size, the bathroom perhaps a little cramped with only a shower. Facilities very clean and modern, decor in my opinion a little drab in its colour scheme but fine.

Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared, served in a buffet style. There is a bar in the hotel which was reasonably priced.

You will find a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance and Broad Street is two minutes away. The hotel also has some secure underground parking at about £12 per night and also a large car park just next door if the hotel parking is full.

As a couple we paid about £80 including breakfast which for a mid range city centre hotel, above budget but naturally not aiming to be luxury we felt was pretty good value.

Would we stay again? Yes indeed we would, especially mid week for business.

Unobtrusive friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure ones stay was pleasant. Comfy bed, a window which opened, air conditioning which worked and could be turned off at night, no noise, a fridge which did not have a noisy motor and rattled away all night. Better than many more expensive hotels, Very happy. Peaceful location too, right in the midst of the best enetrtainment around.

I am a Hilton Honor member and stay for overnight here for Yonex All England Final match. This is also my first stay in Garden Inn hotel and ideal choice with just minutes away from the sports event.
There are some points that exit my expectation and some are below expectation
Let's start with the exceeding expectation first.
This is my first hotel stay with iMac and 2.1 speaker system.I normally wacth TV to buy time before going to sleep. This sound system did blown me away and i did watch a full action packed movie that night.I really hate hotel's remote control as its normally slow and clunky. This iMac remote was just brilliant and easy to use.
Free WiFi is also a bonus and this really suitable for business and leisure holidays.
BrindleyPlace show it's true colors in evening with lots of restaurants and nice canal walk all the way to Mailbox
The disadvantage points, the toilet door are not able to lock and the round metal around the toilet knob keep on falling down.It sure a poor quality of workmanship.
This disadvantages are something that can be improve.
Overall,i still give an Excellent rating as exceed my overall expectation and will keen to look for iMac in my next hotel stay,

Room Tip: Room are all the same and facing the square have the best view

As a Hilton Diamond member I always wonder which, if any, of the benefits I will get without asking. No problems here, personal letter offering free water, free breakfast was waiting for me. Having declined the offer a free newspaper I later asked for one expecting to pay for it (it was a SUnday morning) but no it came through as complimentary. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were very pleasant and efficient.; breakfast was good.

Stayed for one night in March on business.
Good location off Broad Street, with it's wide selection of Bars and Restaurants.
Rooms all clean and tidy.
Not cheap but a very high standard hotel which is still fresh and up together.
Breakfast very good indeed, no complaints.
Only niggle was the need to seek help turning on the Apple tv. A maintenance guy had to unplug everything and re-boot it. A gimmick too far maybe, a standard tv is all most would expect.
Bathroom very clean and a nice big shower with good ceiling rose. Good shower gel.
Thoroughly recommend for business or pleasure stays.

I have stopped here when it was city inn and mint hotel. Service still good and nice atmosphere. Some of the edges looking a bit worn but overall very good. The pricing seems better value now. The breakfast is good but not as brilliant as it was when city inn. The rooms are compact yet well equipped
