Pleasantly surprised by the room quality, and good breakfast. 5 mins walk to ICC conference centre, and even less to the canal side bars and restaurants nearby. And very good value at about £70 a night. Good views from the higher floors and less traffic noise disturbance - mainly sirens as in any city centre.

Depends on what you expect from a hotel:

The rooms are nice and big, with only double beds (so if you book a double room you don't get two single beds but two doubles) which is good. Nice and warm and clean.
Downside:
Full of hen and stag parties so very noisy, people shouting on the corridors all night.
I asked for caffeine free tea in the room, was told the don't do that.
No room service.
No ice buckets at the bar.
Breakfast like a catlike market, people came down in pyjamas! Cheap food.

Because of the location they have security on the door, lots of police and and ambulances outside the hotel, apparently this is normal because of the type of clientele.

Stayed one night at this excellent hotel.
I asked for a quiet room with a view and they gave me a room on the top (16th) floor.
Recent renovation work meant the room (1620) could NOT be faulted.
The parking was easy and the breakfast was excellent.
I expected room doors banging all night but I heard nothing.
Thank you Jurys Inn.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor to get amazing views over Birmingham.

Nice room, good size with lovely comfy beds and good quality sheets. The bedroom was clean (though the bathroom tiles could fo with a good clean!)
Reception staff were good, though probably not enough staff on when we checked in at 4pm.
Good breakfast, especially for a buffet.

Clean and spacious room. Comfortable beds. Great facilities. Excellent location - right on Broad Street in the middle of all the bars and clubs. Very helpful staff (Tim checked us in and gave tips for my daughters first clubbing experience). I left them to it and they had a great time. Would book this hotel for myself.

We were looking for a cheap and cheerful in Birmingham for one night. We originally ignored jurys inn as too expensive, but we found in on Trivago for 65£ including two breakfasts.

We arrived to hen parties all over the place and scouse girls in rollers! However, this hotel is in the heart of the Birmingham nightclub area, so it's to be expected!

We checked in quick and effectively. She asked where we wanted to be, and I said as high as poss (great view and quiet). She put us on the highest floor.

The room was lovely. Big, spacious, clean. Missing a few items though. No toothpaste, only 2 towels, no great shower curtain. Little touches that downgraded it to a 3 star for me.

The breakfast was manic! Lack of cups, not much space. But the hotel was obviously full (ish) and everyone had breakfast at the same time (as late as possible after a night out) They advertised breakfast as £10 which I wouldn't of paid as there was pubs around for cheaper.

All in all, the hotel was great for what we needed it for. But if you like quiet there's probably better places for you.
