“Breakfast gave it the wow factor!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 September 2014

I stayed here with some friends as part of a Murdery Mystery weekend package. We arrived by coach which caused some delays at check in where we were given the wrong let of keys to start with.
This is a large hotel and we were on the 8th floor but the lifts were fast if crowded at times.
The room itself was very nice. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The room was clean although the bath could use some limescale remover!
Breakfast was amazing - everything you could imagine was there on a buffet type system.
Although the hotel is located right in the middle of all the city's restaurants, clubs and bars (the street was packed when we arrived back around midnight on the Saturday) we couldn't hear any noise from our room and there were security guards on the door to make sure only guest got in so we were able to use the hotel bar for a quiet drink before we went up to our rooms.
I would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending it to people.

Room Tip: If staying on a Friday/Saturday night you might want a room on a higher floor away from all the hust...

I stayed here for work purposes once in August for 4 nights and again in September for 2 nights, and consistency is the word to describe this hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, although having two double beds did perplex me somewhat! Myself and my colleagues ate at the hotel restaurant every night and were throughly impressed with the food and the equally good service. We found Paul, Tim who shone despite it only being his first day when we were there, and Harley (I think that was her name) were particularly excellent and made our dining a even better experience. I really do recommend the belgian waffles if you eat in the restaurant! A wonderful stay at a hotel where the staff really do care and make an effort to ensure every night is a good night.

It took us around 15 minutes to walk to Bullring and was right on the broad street where all the main clubs are which was perfect for us! It was a lovely hotel, great security, nice size comfortable beds, we had one room, two double beds and three of us were in there. Plenty of space to get ready! Easy to check in and out. Not much room service but wasn't a big deal for us! Lovely bar downstairs and Costa!

I stayed here with a friend for a night out over the weekend. The check-in was quick & the staff were very polite & friendly. The hotel itself, although it has 16 floors is extremely clean & the rooms very spacious, modern & comfortable. It is in an excellent location for all the bars / clubs on Broad Street...perfect for what we wanted it for. With everything on the doorstep, it saves the taxi ride back which is a bonus. We took advantage of the offer they had on for breakfast that weekend, which was really nice with plenty of choice. The Costa located is the reception area is an added bonus too. My only gripe is the cost of parking (£14.50 for 24- hours), it would be nice if the hotel would reduce the price for guests.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay & will most definately be staying here when we visit Birmingham again next month.

what a lovey hotel, every thing was just right. Bed was cosy, pillows so soft. so perfect for a night out on Broad Street Birmingham. We went into about 5 Pubs before we went into Popworld, a very good time had by all.
