Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights while attending a works conference. Hotel was very nice, staff were very friendly, very clean and well maintained. Lovely setting in beautiful grounds. Security was good so didn't have to worry about my car at all while I was there. Hotel is huge, like a rabbit warren and carrying boxes to and from room left me totally shattered! Up stairs and down, around one corridor into another left then right......yes a definite rabbit warren. Room was a little hot and even with both the windows open took quite a while to cool down. No wifi in the room so not great for working....there was fixed Internet but most business users nowadays expect wifi. Restaurant was very very busy at breakfast, I have no idea how the staff coped! Overall Very Good.

Went to play golf with a fairly large group from my golf club. Golf was very good, especially the championship course which was in great condition for the time of year. Hotel is ok, nothing special. Food - slow service and only adequate, drinks far too expensive!

Room Tip: Take more money than you think!

We booked into the Forest of Arden for one nights mid Oct to co-incide with a Wedding in Warwick. We played golf on the Alyesford course friday afternoon , cold and wet , and very noisy from the motoway on the front 9 holes , but overall in good condition.
Room was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was a pleasure as the staff were very good and attentive and food good quality .
This is a good Marriott and would return if circumstances allow , probably in the summenrs months.

Just back from a weekend at the Marriott here-it's at least the 6th different one we've been to thanks to Tesco Clubcard vouchers and it was the best yet.

The facilities were great, the swimming pool was decent sized and very clean, and the breakfasts excellent. The staff were very helpful.

We visited Birmingham, Trentham gardens and Leamington Spa, Cadbury World is also nearby.

Lovely weekend.

Can be a little tough to find - be sure to have detailed directions.

The property and golf course are quite attractive and charming. The service was very good from reception, to bar, to breakfast.

The bar is very pleasant with direct access to a patio overlooking the golf course. Stick to beer, wine, or gin & tonics - they don't have much practice at mixed cocktails.

The rooms were nice though we did asked to be switched from an inside courtyard room to an outside room with a view of the course. Everything was clean and in good working order. The hallways can be a bit of a maze so be prepared for a bit of walking. There is no air conditioning in the rooms - a bit of a surprise. However, the property is quiet enough to sleep with windows open and even in the middle of August it was comfortable.

The pool complex was way above average. Very nice facilities.

Breakfast (included with our room) was very nice - good selection, pleasant room.

Room Tip: Half the rooms are on courtyards which can be noisy. Try to get an outside room away from the car pa...

Spent 2 nights here last weekend and had a lovely break. Hotel is of the high standards expected of a Marriott. Room was very clean and comfortable. We dined in both the main restaurant and the Zest and found the staff well trained and food excellent in both.
Only criticisms, wifi should be free, at least in public areas, ideally in the rooms for the price of the accommodation. Also swimming pool was not very warm.
Location is beautiful, very quiet, with woodland and deer, yet very accessible for the M6. Would love to return soon.

Stayed here for a two night relaxing weekend break. Hotel located minutes from the M6 yet feels as though you are in a countryside location. Didn't leave the hotel other than for a gentle stroll in the nearby woods. Met a family of small deer on the path which was delightful. Rooms excellent, food good, facilities brilliant. A tad busy at breakfast and had to queue (9.30) however you just need to time it better!
