Booked room then upgraded to view with a balcony once I saw the pictures!,
Yes a lot of money for upgrade however worth the money for the views alone room not large yes great shower but not great pressure in the water flow and the rooms are looking tired with chipped paint on doors
Breakfast was fantastic great views from restaurant ,

Great hotel, with a great welcome from Alix on this occasion. The Pool, Spa and Gym are fab - not forgetting the climbing wall!

The rooms are very cool, with amazing views over Birmingham and beyond, not to mention the complimentary wifi, a full range of Freeview channels and kit kat, water and mini fridge - great during a lovely hot summer. To be fair, the room had everything you could want from a hotel away from home with lovely comfortable beds and pillows. Then a great location alongside the canal with a range of great restaurants on your doorstep. So when you're done with a busy day shopping (or working!), chill out at the spa, work up an appetite at the gym, have a great meal at the waterside and finish up with a drink overlooking the city at night.

One word of warning... don't park in the layby outside - that belongs to the Cube and you'll get a ticket quicker than you can blink! Park in the Mailbox near the central lifts.

Room Tip: An upgraded room generally comes with a balcony - and a great view!

Chose the note from booking.com as it was in the heart of the city, not disappointed at all. Fantastic views from the room excellent reception staff and a very good room too. As it was situated on Gas Street all you really wanted was there along with parking, not as expensive as London, and the Bullring only a short stroll away. Felt comfortable wherever we went and a lovely evening meal at the tapas restaurant outside in the late evening sun. Breakfast was more than adequate and again the staff were superb as was the view from Marco Pierre Whites restaurant. We would have no hesitation recommending the hotel.

Stayed at the Indigo a Hotel overnight, with food in marco Pierre whites restaurant. Couldn't fault any of it. The cocktail bar was lively, trendy and most importantly, the cocktails were nice. My only minor complaint would be how long it took to get served.

The food in the restaurant was perfect. I've read some of the poor reviews before going and had some reservations, but I can safely say it was the nicest steak I've had in the UK and the overall experience was perfect.

Even the breakfast in the morning was high quality... Along with the service.

Would I go again? He'll yes!

Room Tip: Doesn't matter, the all have good views

Friendly staff, always willing to help no matter what - Very welcoming! Great location - right in the heart of Birmingham next to bars and restaurants.
Rooms were of a very high standard, clean, modern with all the amenities you would need,
Only downside was walk & cost of car park at the mailbox!

We had the deluxe executive suite and my husband was speechless. We will be back, hopefully for my 50th the room was amazing, the view over Birmingham was lovely. I had no expectations of the room but once I was in it, I must say it is the best I have stayed in yet
