Stayed for a Saturday night having booked a good deal through Secret Escapes. We were able to check-in very early which was a result and were impressed with our Executive Room, very stylish and minimalist but well thought out. We had a good view across to the Bull Ring, the a/c worked well and was so quiet I wondered whether it was actually on at all!

We opted to have our evening meal in the hotel restaurant and the meal was really good, however we became increasingly uneasy as our meal went on as three tables around us were all querying their bills, bit odd, and lo and behold when our bill came their was an item added on that we simply hadn't had, we queried it with the waitress and then opted to speak to a manager as we wanted to know why every bill appeared to be wrong, we were given an explanation, not sure I believed it but our bill was reduced and we were happy to leave it at that. It was a shame though as it has left a slightly bitter taste to what was otherwise a really nice stay.

One last point to add is that the pillows here are really uncomfortable, not sure whether you could ask for others but had we been staying another night I would have been requesting them to be replaced.

Celebrated my birthday with 12 other friends stayed for 2 nights and booked the private dining room for dinner on the Saturday evening.
Rooms are finished to a very high standard and kept so clean by housekeeping. Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice and continually checked by staff.
Dinner in the restaurant was superb, its always a gamble when there is a large group, will the food arrive at the same time and will it be hot. The waiting staff were very friendly and the food did not disappoint arriving at the same time, hot and very tasty.
There was entertainment in the bar on both evenings and it was excellent. If you like cocktails the bar staff will make whatever your favourite tipple is.
I wasn't there for shopping but the bullring only a few mins walk away is great.
Overall this is a fantastic venue for any occasion.

Stayed here last Thursday and Friday night as it was my birthday and I wanted to have a couple of days away drinking, eating and shopping. Saw this hotel on line and it seemed to fit the bill in relation to price, style, facilities and location.
It definitely ticked all the boxes mentioned and more! A superb hotel with fabulous staff who couldn't do enough to help and went out of their way to come and say hello and assist in anyway they could. That was my experience from the time we checked in to the time we departed. Superb all round.
The rooms were great with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. If you like gadgets you'll love the phone system, the light switches / sensors and the in room and bathroom speakers you can run your music through! The shower in the bathroom was one of the best I've had the pleasure of getting wet in!
Used the bar on several occasions and it was very reasonable with an excellent selection of wine, beers and spirits. Great central location of the hotel added to the sheer enjoyment of the few days we spent at the LaTour.
Thanks to all concerned, we'll definitely be back soon.

Booked a suite to celebrate a special occasion. Check in was a bit iffy. There were only two other people in reception but even though we walked in with our luggage and my wife with her crutches, didn't even get a "hello"!!

Once we checked in, went up to our room and it was very nice!! Very spacious room with the bathroom in the centre, lounge area to the right and bedroom to the left. We were on the same side as the main road but didn't hear the traffic too much but you do hear people in the corridor.

Bed was very comfy, bath was huge and shower was lovely!!

Had breakfast in the hotel. The chef was really friendly but the waiting staff need a bit of customer service training. Tables were small but they didn't clear anything off them. Had to keep asking for tea but they didn't bring it. Second morning they did but it was cold.

When we checked out, didn't get any recognition or anyone ask if we had enjoyed our stay.

Car park was only a few minutes walk and was at the £5 for the stay which was good!!

All in all, a really nice stay but given the price, would have expected better service as that often determines whether you go back, or not.

Stayed here as a couple on a Thursday evening. Although there is no parking on-site (yet!! Looks as though its under construction) - there is a drop-off bay outside the front door, where you can leave your car whilst checking in and taking your bags to your room. There are a number of car parks close to the hotel - the hotel has an affiliation with the nearby Selfridges car park - £5 for the duration of stay, and secure overnight - only a 3 minute walk away. The rooms are very modern and stylish, with comfortable bed, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and refreshments. Doors (incl those from public areas), lights and air con are digitally controlled. The bathroom was spacious with walk-in shower and White Company products. However, the best part of this stay had to be the cocktails in the bar - and the fabulous food in the Marcus Waring inspired restaurant - amazing!! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!
