Spent a couple of nights, mid week. in an executive room. Excellent decor, cleanliness, T V , and a comfortable bed, but the pillows were so hard. I notice previous guests made similar comments and I am suprised a hotel of this standard does not have a pillow menu.available.
The modern tech. was great, Lighting controls from the bed was brilliant (as were the speakers in the bathroom).
The parking arrangement at Selfridges worked well and was good value
Quality of food at dinner and breakfast was excellent.with really helpful staff.
We had afternoon tea one day which was O K - no more -.but It lacked a certain finesse. Afternoon tea in a good hotel should be a theatrical experience which this was not.
Change the pillows, so I could have a reasonable nights sleep and I would give 5* rating.
