Stayed recently on a Saturday night for a trip to the NIA. Hotel is very modern and clean. Excellent rooms with large bed. Fancy electronics to control the lights, temperature etc. Lovely big walk-in shower. Nice bar. Only a short walk to the Bullring shopping centre. Thoroughly recommended.

An absolutely stunning building, right in the heart of Birmingham! Stayed here for a few days recently and all I can say is Wow!

The team that run Hotel LaTour are passionate about making everything right!

It’s a lovely place to stay, with very easy access to the City Centre and convenient parking.
The rooms are lovely and have everything you need, including very good, free, WiFi. Loved the rainfall showers in the bathrooms!

Had dinner in the restaurant; well worth a try! The food was fresh and really nicely presented. Between courses we were give a few little surprises! Very good value for money and, I was stuffed when I left!

I’ve stayed in some nice Hotels over the years, and I have to say, this place is one of the best!
If you stay here you’re in for a real treat!

Room Tip: Just tell the team what you want, they will provide it if they can!

We stayed recently on a Sunday night with our family to celebrate a family birthday, were very impressed with the hotel, rooms and restaurant and service from the staff was very professional. We booked the 'chefs table' for six people Sunday evening and everything was excellent, food fantastic and the head waiter very attentive and polite nothing was too much trouble we all very much enjoyed the evening along with the special birthday petty fore's which were made for us.

If we are in Birmingham again we would not hesitate in booking this hotel, and would thoroghly receommend it, thank you for making it a speical birthday.

We might prefer cosy hotels, old world charm & the countryside, but we've been meaning to see Birmingham for a while, and the La Tour was as good a choice as any. It was within seconds of the Bullring, shopping centre & Christmas markets.
It looks modern, with automatic check-in machines, huge backed seats & clean lines. The main reason for a hotel is to give you a good nights sleep, and the La Tour ticked all the boxes. We honestly thought that it was a very slow night in the hotel, as we never heard a single other person once we'd closed the solid door. The room is modern but extremely comfortable. There are some very chic electronics to control the temperature & lights, and even the do not disturb is only a touch switch away. Our room faced south and we could just see the Bullring at one side. The bed was huge, with big pillows and cushions to let you sit up in bed. The Samsung tv had a good choice of channels & it swivelled out from the wall, so you could watch it comfortably whilst sat on the chaise-longue.
The bed itself was set in front of a chimney breast type feature that housed the small wardrobe on one side and the fridge & kettle on the other. The wardrobe is based off weekend stops, but there was enough room and it had an iron & ironing board in there.
The bathroom had a big walk in shower, which had a large rain-shower head, and a hand-held wand as well.
Breakfast was plentiful, and our only gripe was the lids of the hot buffet were quite a reach when set back, and I'm not exactly dinky at 5 foot 9.
Overall, good location, great rooms, lovely staff, and we will be back.

Room Tip: Pay that little bit more for an executive room.

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel back in October for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left everything was excellent. We parked our car in the car park over the road from the hotel, bare in mind that its unsecured so park at your own risk.
The room was very big with a huge walk in shower big enough for two people :) also the room had lovely views over the city.
The hotel itself is very modern and looks different to many other hotels around. If you want to stay in a top class hotel then I would highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was also very good compared to other hotels, on both mornings I had a full English and was left very satisfied. One of the main bonus points about this hotel is that the Bull Ring shopping centre is located next to it which I loved.

Room Tip: Book a superior or executive room, They are amazing also try website Secret escapes for a good deal...

Stayed at this hotel Friday evening, was very impressed on arrival, staff very welcoming and decor quite stunning. Rooms were just as we booked interconnecting. Went straight to bar for an emergency bite to eat as had to be somewhere. Bar was heaving with Christmas parties but bar staff very efficient and we got served quite quickly considering the parties. Delightful lady took our bar snack order as restaurant was full, the food didn't hang about and it was very tasty and very well presented. Breakfast the next morning was great too, very fresh and lots of it. Would I stay here again??? Yes I'm booking to go back in jan, ideally located for shops. Cannot understand why the hotel isn't 5 star??

Despite some recent bad reviews for this hotel which we found unsettling this worry was unfounded as we really enjoyed our overnight stay. with plans to see a show at the NIA the hotel was the ideal place to use as we travelled up by train. The room was clean, well equiped and quiet. The check-in was trouble free and the breakfast very good ...what would have made it excellent would have been the addition of Black Pudding. We will certainly return
