Absolutely perfect for a short business stay. Has its own carpark around the hotel and this is a really central location. Never had a problem with Premier Inn restaurants.

Stayed in the hotel as was attending training. Had a very nice room, overlooking the Canal. Quiet, clean, a bit spartan and may be a bit small, but for a single person was ok. The staff was very nice and friendly; the breakfast was awesome! So, all in all was very happy indeed!

Room Tip: Canal side is a must!

Stayed for a single night 28.09.11. ( attending conference nearby)
This Premier Inn has a great location and is situated next to the canal - I had a view overlooking the canal on the first floor which was a real pleasure. It's fairly close to the city centre and in easy walking distance of attractions, bars, restaurants, shops etc.
The room was fairly small but exceptionally clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Key access to corridors meant that the building felt very secure. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I had breakfast (not pre-booked) the following morning - the selection was reasonable and the staff were attentive.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Premier Inn.

My mother & I stayed here for 4 nights as it was convenient for visiting the museums and had on-site parking. I've stayed here once before so was not disappointed. The rooms were spotless, which is what I hae come to expect from Premier Inns, and the staff absolutely charming. My only gripes - guests sitting on the steps near the bar talking at 2.30m in the morning and early morning arrival of deliveries. A pain if you sleep with the window open.

I agree with everything written here but surely Premier Inns should drop the charge of £5 per hour for wi-fi. We thought this practice had died out. We bought a £5 voucher at reception as we were told it was cheaper to book on the internet. It took us a four minutes in reception to get the internet price.
However when we fired up the lap-top in the morning we found the £5 voucher wouldn't work. It appears that you get 1 hour from the time you log on and the session doesn't time itself out when you shut down. So be warned.
As we were on business we found it cheaper to use the Wetherspoons pub across the road (The Figure of 8).They do a great breakfast and the wi-fi is free all day !

Just spent the night at the Broad Street Premier Inn and was throughly impressed. Booked as a last minute shopping trip with my wife and was very pleased with experience. Easy to get to with car, free parking, lovely staff at reception, helpful and full of advice. Location is great, right on the busy Broad Street which is full of clubs pubs and restaurant, and only a 15 minute stroll from the busy shopping area including thr Bullring. Room was spotless and comfortable, shower was one of the best I've been in! Breakfast was reasonable priced, very varied continental breakfast and good cooked option along with fresh juice and coffee! I've stayed in much more expensive hotels which promise more and delivery less. Will come back for a weekend stay soon!

Location of this Premier Inn is excellent if you're visiting Birmingham - never had to use our car during our 2-night stay - opposite the road to the Symphony Hall and within a short walking distance of the centre. Thoroughly recommend it.

Room Tip: We always request a room the car park side although I do believe that the night club on the other si...
