“Great location and comfort”
Reviewed 6 January 2012

Booked into this Premier Inn for a 2 day break and found it to be in an ideal spot for easy access into the city. There was a friendly welcome at reception and our room on the 3rd floor was comfortable and spotless. The beds were super comfy and although the room was quite small, it was well equipped and great for a short stay. We had the continental breakfast in the lovely restaurant, which was well stocked and had plenty of choices in cereals, fruit, pastries etc and the service was efficient and friendly. Can't beat this budget hotel for how near it is to everywhere - 5 mins from New Street shops and Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery. We didn't try an evening meal at the hotel as there was a good Wetherspoons on Broad Street just round the corner. Great hotel on a budget in this excellent city!

Room Tip: We were in room 309 overlooking the canal and it was really quiet.

I found the hotel competitively priced, spotlessly clean and comfortable with the use of both bath and shower in our room. The staff were very helpful and friendly, something we have come to expect in Premier Inns. The hotel had the added facillity of free parking; like gold in a town centre.
We had a wonderful weekend in Birmingham dispensing of our car and walking to the Town Centre, along the attractively laid out canal side, within 5 minutes of the hotel. We will definitely stay in this hotel on future visits.

The room was comfortable and the decor was in good condition, The Hotel is situated approx 400 metres from the Mail Box and 400 Metres from Symphony hall which was the reason for our visit. The German market starts just outside Symphony hall and lays a trail throughout the City Centre Shopping

I stayed here for 2 nights to meet up with ex colleagues. The staff were great and the chain either know how to recruit the right attitude and/or their customer service training is great. Clean room (although smaller than other PI’s I have stayed in) comfortable, very convenient for Broad Street or the shopping areas etc. My room overlooked the canal at the back so was quiet from outside, but their was some internal noise from other rooms and the corridor door every time it opened and closed. The car park is free, but not huge and a deal of double parking goes on that can make getting out tricky.
