Customer Service, Staff ability and skills, comfort, meals, location and much more all top rate,
However if you are disabled you wont be able to have a shower even in the disabled facilities room as it is not accessible, and the television in the room is not fitted with a loop system.

Stayed overnight with family group as our daughter was taking part in Cats at the NIA.
Lots of parking spaces, extremely clean (compliments to the housekeeping team), comfortable, spacious rooms. Very pleasant reception staff who booked taxis for us and remembered to ask us about our night when we saw them the next morning. We had contacted the hotel prior to our visit to check on restaurant opening times and were told we could eat at 5pm which was perfect as we had to be at the NIA by 7pm. However, upon arrival we were told the restaurant did not open until 6pm. After explaining our reason for choosing the hotel for the restaurant opening time, the reception staff arranged for the restaurant to be opened at 5pm and we are very grateful to them and the restaurant staff for this. Berni in the restaurant was exceptional and we would like to thank her for her attentive, speedy service - the one time we did need to eat in a hurry and were not worried by the speed our courses were served at! The meal deal is very good value - 3 course evening meal and a drink (wine, lager or soft drink) plus cooked breakfast for £22.99.. Choices from the menu were decent, such as calamari, prawn cocktail, tomato & mozzarella salad, steak, fish & chips, curry, chicken and choc sundae, cheesecake, ice cream etc for dessert. Breakfast was really good with a choice of continental and cooked to order hot options. All in all good value for money and excellent customer service. If we are in need of an overnight stay in this area again we would definitely re-book.

Room Tip: We were in rooms 229, 232 & 234 - there is noise from the road but seemed a quiet area of the ho...

I stayed here 1 night whilst on business locally, not the best location for the city itself.

The room was very clean, full bath and tea making facilities.

Plenty of car parking out front.

Buffet breakfast was good with a nice range of food.

The staff were very helpful too, recommended!

Stayed at Birmingham Central East Premier Inn overnight on the way to NEC to see Crufts. It was very clean, comfortable and the staff were very hospitable. Nice place. Quite easy to get to in a car as well.

We stayed at here on friday 8th March, me,my husband and our children travelled down from London for the crufts show. My 1st thought of this place was 'oh my god, why are they in the middle of nowhere' but we'd already booked so nothing we can do. The receptionist was absolutley lovely and was very accomodating, the rooms were what you would expect, as it isnt a 4 or 5 star place. We decided to eat in the restaurant, which was a big mistake, the food was shoddy and tasteless, the steak's were rubbery and cold, how food is even allowed to come out in this state i do not know. The only good thing about the restaurant was the staff, a lovely lady, called Nikishia i believe, she was so helpful and and very bubbly and i must say kept me smiling regardless, she went above and beyond to accomodate us and our concerns, it was a shame really as she clearly was'nt well and had to deal with our complaints as well as others. Nikishia is a credit to this place as well as the other guy Elliot, the food ridiculous and over priced, the service from Nikishia and Elliot 5*. We also had her on breakfast this morning which was a pleasant surprise, still unwell but kept going anyway. Please pass my regards on to them both and the lovely receptionist, as for the chef, think you need a new one!!!

From the initial welcome to the quality of the food and comfyness of the rooms/beds this really was a fantastic weekend with great value for money. Ideal location to get into the city. a 20-30 minute canal path walk will take you into the heart of the city. The restaurant here has great choices and was excellent food and great friendly service. Parking is free and lots of spaces. Everything was clean and all staff members were friendly and very helpful.

The location made the hotel easy to access from main roads and the view out to the canal was lovely. I cannot fault the receptionist, size of the room nor the cleanliness - all we're beyond my expectations when paying so little. Parking easy and accessible. Could have done without the piped music in the restaurant but it was turned down when we asked. Have already booked to stay again when I'm in the area.
