this hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, have a big comfy bed, proper pillows, warm comfy quilt, very clean, all products in the bathroom were full, breakfast was good, was a lot of people there as we stayed 7th dec 2012 but had no problem getting breakfast or a seat to eat, right in the middle of broad street, a ncp car park at back of hotel and only cost £4.60 for the night, i have no complaints about this hotel and would stay again and recommend to all my friends and family.

Hotel is in a great location. Extremely clean and very smart. Fantastic choice for breakfast - hot, continental and fruits too. Good car park too for £10. I will definately be staying at this hotel again.

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night whilst visiting Cadbury World and the Christmas Markets. Hotel in a good location, just a few minutes walk from shops and nightclubs.
The room and hotel in general was clean and modern, very good for a city hotel. Breakfast was included in the price, not a huge selection of food but what they did serve was nice.Car parking was also reasonable at £10 per day.
The only negative thing about our stay was the service we received from the staff. Upon checking in and out, staff didn't seem interested in any of the guests, and seemed abrupt when asked questions etc. Staff didn't seem like they enjoyed their job at all.

Room Tip: Would suggest higher floor and away from the lifts.

I was only in Birmingham for one night with my friend as we were completing a 20 hour TEFL course over two days. I managed to find a deal for this hotel and paid very little for one nights stay with breakfast. It is on a busy bar and Nightclub Street and about a half hour walk away from the train station.

The hotel receptionist was very friendly, the hotel was clean, looked newly refurbished, rooms were very comfortable and the shower was great. The continental breakfast offered a good variety however was not to the best standard. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would highly recommend it for a short weekend away. However if you wanted a relaxing stay and would be spending more time in the hotel I would not stay in this area and choose a hotel with a bigger lounge, separate restaurant etc.

Room Tip: The receptionist kindly advised that we stay on a higher floor to avoid being woken at night by the...

Beautiful new hotel, right in the heart of broad street/city center and within walking distance to everything Birmingham. I stayed in this hotel for a week on business. The hotel is comfortable, new, and had nice city views. The staff wasn't great. The phone at the front desk didn't get answered, and when it did, they couldn't find my coworker's listing even though I knew he was staying in the hotel. Breakfast was good, and coffee fresh. The breakfast service team was great. I didn't mind the fact that the windows don't open as I felt the hotel was comfortable and ventilated well. The elevators are really slow, but the gym is great. This hotel does not have pool from what I can remember, so if you are wanting a swim...well, you won't. The major downside of this hotel is the internet. The internet was horrible, slow, and pretty much unusable. It was very bad from the business perspective. I would stay in this hotel again, but only for pleasure, or if I didn't need the internet.

Room Tip: higher up, the better

Very well placed on Broad Street in the heart of Biirminghams night life, this a great place for party goers at any time and central for business.
The rooms are just great, spacious, comfortable and reasonably calm if you are at the back.
I stayed for 8 nights and used the gym almost every day, good quality equipment and enough space to move around in.
The breakfast Buffet was fine, continental or full English, fruit etc everything included in the price.
Probably a place to avoid on weekends if you dont like noisy groups of drunks in lifts and corridors late at night.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the back and on a high floor if you don' like noise

My boyfriend and I stayed here over 2 nights, the 14th to the 16th. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the city centre which is great! Checking in was easy and the girl at reception was just fine. We were on the 8th floor, and the room was really nice, very clean and modern, couldn't have asked for anything more. The shower was lovely!! Bed was nice and comfy!! My boyfriend and although we are 19 and 20 we were not there for the clubs and such, and neither of us drink so I was a little concerned about the amount of clubs and pubs. But there was no noise from outside, even on the saturday night! When we came back from the cinema at about half 11 on the saturday night it was unsurprisingly rammed, but it was comforting to see two rather large men guarding the front doors which were locked so we had to swipe our way back in! I have never felt so safe. Breakfast was nice, good choice, although I recommend getting downstairs before 9am!!!!! Overall a really lovely stay! Thank you! :)
