If you stay at this hotel and want to go to sleep before 3am do not stay in a lower floor room at the front of the hotel (facing Broad Street). The noise from a nearby nightclub was horrendous, the music was so loud my husband commented that the bass was shaking our bed, indeed it did feel like it was! Also you could hear the noise from the street, people shouting etc and even the beeping of the nearby pelican crossing all night! It was a shame this ruined our stay as the staff, room and breakfast were all excellent, especially for the price we paid. We may have had a completely different experience if we had been allocated a room at the back of the hotel on a higher floor - so if you stay here make sure you ask for one!
