Having paid £32 for the night we werent expecting much but was so pleased to find a clean, modern, stylish and ideally located hotel when we arrived! With a complimentary breakfast as well it was brilliant and i have no complaints what so ever!

If you stay at this hotel and want to go to sleep before 3am do not stay in a lower floor room at the front of the hotel (facing Broad Street). The noise from a nearby nightclub was horrendous, the music was so loud my husband commented that the bass was shaking our bed, indeed it did feel like it was! Also you could hear the noise from the street, people shouting etc and even the beeping of the nearby pelican crossing all night! It was a shame this ruined our stay as the staff, room and breakfast were all excellent, especially for the price we paid. We may have had a completely different experience if we had been allocated a room at the back of the hotel on a higher floor - so if you stay here make sure you ask for one!

The room was clean and spacious. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I needed to print some document but the printer was faulty. When approached the reception she asked me to forward the email to her and I had it printed in less than 5 minutes time. Really appreciate her help.

My only complaint is that although we were told that breakfast was served from 6am, it wasn't. We were told on arrival that only on the 1st of January breakfast was served from 7am. So on the 2nd we got up at 5am to get ready and when we went down for breakfast we were told that it was at 7. We wanted an early breakfast as we were going to London and wanted to catch an early train. We had no choice but to change our plans which was disappointing. The reception staff are not welcoming or friendly. That didn't bother us but it might bother others. Apart from that the hotel is spotless and well worth the money we paid. I still highly recommend it.

I booked 2 rooms through the Hotelopia website for £44 each. Found car park really easily. Rooms were great really clean, the breakfast was great yes it does get busy but we managed to find a table at the far end past the reception area. The carpet area by reception could have done with a vacuum as it looked dirty when we checked in. Great location for all the bars. Nothing bad to say about the hotel. I would recommend it and would stay here again.

Really good hotel for the price. Clearly newly renovated with simple but clean and modern rooms. The lounge area is really nice, we were meeting with family and spent a considerable amount of time in the bar/lounge, very happily. Breakfast is good. The hotel has a car park, which had good availability and was not overpriced. The location is excellent, on Broad Street (the main 'party' street) very close to Brindley Place a much classier area with good restaurants. It is a short walk from the main shopping area. Only criticism is on occasion the customer service was a little below what you would expect, but it did not spoil my trip. I would recommend the hotel overall.
