Stayed here to go to a concert at the NIA and we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Car parking under the hotel accessed from the street behind Broad Street (Tennant Street so put this postcode in to your satnav not the hotel postcode) with a ticket barrier and cost is £10 a day. We were given a lovely room on the top floor with great views, comfortable bed and good quality linen, flatscreen TV, nice shower room and the included breakfast is good and bar/dining areas comfortable. Easy walking to shops, dining, entertainment. Would definitely return here.

Stayed for two nights while attending a conference. Clean and modern rooms, reasonably priced and in a convenient location for the NIA, restaurants and bars. A comfortable night's sleep and a good breakfast that really sets you up for the day! Will use this hotel again and would definitely recommend it.

Stayed for one night at the Hampton, Broad St for a concert at NIA. This is very convenient only 10 mins walk away along the canal. Car park is at the back on the 2nd floor of the hotel it cost us £10 for 24 hrs. Get your ticket validated by reception before leaving. Greeted by friendly reception staff. Stayed on the 10th floor which would have been OK, but like other reviewers have stated a lift was out of action. Although this was only a minor inconvenience. The hotel and rooms are nice and modern on the inside. Bedroom and bathroom were clean and had a good shower with bathroom toiletries, and hair dryer. Mattress was very comfortable, so we had a good nights sleep too! Breakfast food was good but overcrowded which was a shame. Outside, along Broad St and the canal area was very busy at night, like any city on a Saturday night. Atmosphere was good and there was a police presence on the streets.
We would use this hotel again if visiting Birmingham in future.

Stayed here after an event at the NIA. Had been tempted to stay at the nearby Travelodge but am so glad I did not. For very little extra expense this hotel is on the luxurious side of functional.
After seeing the hotel from the outside was a little worried about what to expect but on entering was greeted by a clean, fresh looking hotel.
The staff were friendly and very helpful going through all the hotel facilities. Both check-in and check-out were easy. The room was bright, clean, well equipped with its own hairdryer, iron and board and free wi-fi. The shower room was large with the biggest bath towels I have ever come across in a hotel which made for a lovely change. The bed was very comfortable and very high! The breakfast proved a great start to the next morning with a good mix of hot and cold foods.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and just now need to come up with an excuse to stay over in Birmingham again!

Arrived at the Hampton in good time, very impressed with the staff on duty, well laid out and appointed foyer. Our room met expectations and the fold out bed was very comfortable, the wet room was clean everything worked as it should. breakfast was great and couldnt have asked for better. be carefull to pay for parking before you leave the hotel as the ramp is very hard to reverse up! will stay again.
