Stayed at the hotel for my sisters wedding. The wedding was amazing and n the main we had a wonderful time in the rooms too. Bed big and comfortable, although do try not to keep banging your leg on the bed end, tea/ coffee in the room was good, shower rather good too. Breakfast was lovely but I'd have liked semi skimmed milk and low fat spreads as an option without asking. The floor boards creaking did become a problem as you can hear the ones in the rooms above, below and your own.
Suggestions : if you have new people on the desk for check in, could they be shadowed by more experienced staff to avoid frustration. Could they also be reminded that they represent the hotel and first impressions are very, very important especially when hoping for repeat business. Sour faces do not make the right impression. The lighting situation in the main reception in the evening may need looking at to avoid accidents or have more lighting around the stepsMore
