I attended a conference and thankfully didn't have to stay at the hotel. The car park is derelict and a bit of a dumping ground, hence no charge.
The building could be incredible but is poorly maintained and dirty.
There were numerous asylum seekers (I assume) lolling over sofas on communal areas , staring at you whilst on smart phones which for many was intimidating,
Food was reasonable for a hot and cold buffet but this place needs to decide if it is a hotel or a hostel.
I would never book a room whilst it remains so neglected and is more hostel than hotel.
