“Great food. Great staff”

Popped in here after a trip to Edgbaston to watch some cricket. The service was excellent and the food was top notch. Will definitely be visiting again. Drinks are a tad expensive but its in the Arcadian so thats to be expected. We had the set menu and the food was lovely. Highly recommend a visit.

“Alright for a walk by curry, nothing special though”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 July 2014

called in here as it was close to where I was staying and it was late and open. There were a few other people in there but it certainly wasn't busy. There is not a lot to say about this restaurant. Everything was OK, as expected, pleasant enough etc. But it wasn't anything special either. It probably survives on the strength of it's location in the Arcadian. If you are in or around the Arcadian and want an Indian, then you should be OK here. But there is a lot of other restaurants in the area that would be equally as good a choice. Generally OK to call in if you're passing by, but I wouldn't make a special journey just to get here.

“Tasty food, reasonable prices”

I visited Festival Balti with my boyfriend in February 2014. We both ordered from the set menu, and the portions were very generous! We enjoyed the food, especially the dessert which was mango kulfi, so tasty! I'd probably return to this restaurant and I'd recommend it to others.

“Good food friendly service.”

Visited on a Friday night, didn't know the area, so when we came past festival balti, seeing that there were quite a few people in when other places were only half full made us give it a try.

We did the 3 course set menu for £15, and the portions were massive!! There was a good, varied choice for each course, and was delicious.

The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Drinks choice good too without being too overpriced!
