“Massachusetts meets middle earth!”

A little bit of Massachusetts charm as the Boston Tea Party chain has set up home in the Old School. House in. Harborne For breakfast and afternoon tea the choice is excellent and stretched over three floors this tea party means you can climb the old stone school steps to dine upstairs or spread out on the first floor Access is easy and there is space for families to spill out and enjoy The schoolroom charm extends to the indoor seating, the outdoor seats are even more sturdy and no match for the interior decoration, rest assured the food, the service the sun in the schoolyard and the simple American style more that makes up for it Enjoy!

“Yummy food to ease your conscience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014 via mobile

We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was quiet and relaxed despite there being lots of other customers. The coffee was delicious (flat white) - first time I have had one without needing sugar. I had the West Country breakfast and it arrived promptly and tasted yummy. The prices seem a little high but you are paying for free range meat and high quality ingredients. The scrambled egg is a winner.

Very well decorated in a rusty chic, clean and spacious. Staff are friendly.

Another customer was very rude but the female member of staff handled it well. Definitely worth a visit if you like quality food & drink, variety of choice for teas and coffee, homemade cakes/treats.

New menu items jerk chicken and butter nut squash mac n cheese not sure why they are there as it's a breakfast venue any way. Lovely service and food yet again was also nice to see a chef out on the floor taking food to the public. was fairly busy with the hustle and bustle of the office staff and maybe a bit loud but always can't wait to go back

“Trendy little cafe serving high quality food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 July 2014

Stopped by for a late lunch (around 3pm) on a Tuesday afternoon. Quirky little cafe with some delicious looking cakes on offer. Interior has a trendy warehouse vibe to it with an obvious attraction to hipsters.
Food and drinks are ordered from the bar and brought to your table.

The service is friendly enough but the food is the true winner. Prepared with real care and attention, the reuben toastie (pastrami, swiss cheese and dijon mustard on lightly toasted granary bread) is delicious. The tuna melt toastie comes equally highly recommended and, although they are priced at £5.95 each, are good value for money. The lattes are good quality coffees complete with a carefully crafted heart in the foam which adds a nice personal touch.

The only complaint would be the toilets which need a bit of attention but otherwise a lovely little cafe I would be inclined to visit again.
