I weren't impressed waiting 20 minutes for my cheese, ham and onion toastie and 16 chips. Then when it came, it had no onion on it and the bread was rock solid one side and soggy the other. Toasted the bread then microwaved it for the cheese to melt perhaps?
Also, when ordering I did state I wanted a cheese and ham one, after looking at the receipt and realising it was cheese and tomato I said this was incorrect and I would like it changed. This was followed by 'well you did say tomato and cheese but i'll change it if you really want'. Fab customer service.
For my twenty minute wait I expected it to be at least half decent but I guess that was too much to ask. Didn't realise a toastie was so hard to make as wetherspoons should have toastie makers.
As for the wait, it was a Friday lunch time which wasn't as busy as I expected it so I don't understand why it took so long. I would have said something at the time, but as most people at friday midday, I had to get back to work so didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for them to rectify it.
Expected more from a city centre wetherspoons, very disappointed.
