Found this little gem by accident, people really need to spread the word and support this unique business. The staff where very informative and the tea to drink in was presented very well in a glass tea pot with a heater to keep it warm enabling you lots of time to relax.
Although they do not sell food the owners have no objection to you bringing your own as marks is near by this is a good idea.
We brought some loose leaf tea, that was priced very reasonable and of a high quality, the fact you can use the leaves a few times makes it economical and the taste is superior to tea bags.
I liked the fact that we could try the teas prior to purchase although the staffs appraisal each tea we sampled was spot. This will be a regular stop off when in Birmingham.

I was recommended Cha Wallah by a friend and decided to pay it a visit. For £2.90 you can enjoy a pot of tea, chosen from a wide variety. Black teas, green teas, fruity teas, teas for your health and more. These teas are also available to buy. Our tea was served in a beautiful glass tea pot and presented on a stand with a tea light under it, to keep the tea warm. A "tea timer" was provided so we knew when the tea had reached the best time to drink, and we had a biscuit to enjoy. The shop has only been open five months, and it was very quiet when we visited. They have a lovely sofa to relax on and we were told the owners are getting more sofas instead of the rather high stools. The owner was very friendly, and there was no background music blaring out. It's worth seeking out this tea shop.

My wife and I found this delightful place by accident whiilst shopping in the Pavillions shopping centre.

We enjoyed the pot of tea and were quite taken aback by the selection of tea for sale in the shop.

It was a trifle dear for us to buy. ( we work out 1p per bag) ( Bewleys Irish Tea and Yorkshire tea are our favorites.)

Very pleasent staff and just a nice relaxing atmosphere.
