we were very disapointed after our visit. three of us selected sheek kababs starters which were very plain no flavour and arrived cold, the 2 chicken tikka baltis were salty and pieces of the chicken were chewy again arrived cold , the lamb dish (passanda) was full of salt and the lamb was very chewy, the murgh masala had no flavour very plain.
the bill wasnt to pricy as we had 3 drinks each.
service was friendly.
downside only 1 toilet for ladies and men.

Really dissapointed as we are regular customers to the ginger tree and meal has always been spot on HOWEVER recently we have bad experiences on two occasions. we usually have to wait 1 hour and a half ish but really dont mind as the food comes warm, fresh and tasty! but feel really let down by the food we have been receiving. the curries are rushed and have a watery consistency and have no flavour and can be compared to a homemade Pataks curry. i feel it has gone down hill and thought is not going into the dishes, just shocked as before you could not fault it.. perhaps the chef has changed? ;(

The map that is linked to google maps on here is incorrect. It sends you to northfield on the map and not to marston green. Have reported this to google too.
