“Very disapointed!”
Reviewed 2 August 2014

Went there on Eid eve coming to spend a few days in Birmingham. Just after the salat we headed to the restaurants after reding some nice reviews here. They had a buffet Iftar. The place was full but nearly no food left, we sat and started eating waiting for staff to bring some more choice but nothing soon they were tidying and taking away what was left. We were chocked and told a waiter about our concern, he said he will speak to the owner. Came back to us saying that the owner will take £10 off our bill which was £12.99 per person and we were two. We talked to the owner and explained our concern he said that we came a bit late and that he was happy to make us pay just for one person instead of two. Well after a long journey and a day of fasting we came out very disappointed and headed elsewhere to have some proper food.
Woudn't go there again, place was dirty and owner is careless!

“Bad customer service”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

I am regular customer and eat at this restaurant with my partner. Have only ever had a few issues such as being overcharged, the food taking too long and poorly trained waiters, this being on seperate occasions. (Other times have been ok) We always have our meal which is overall quite good followed by hot drinks and desert. The desert is usually really tasty and fresh, however on this occasion it was anything but that! We ordered the cheesecake as usual, but this time the strawberry on the top was old suggesting the cake had been sitting there for some time, the strawberry layer was hard and not fresh as usual and the cream was tough and flaky. When complaining the waiter assured us it was fresh. However we refused to pay for it, which was fine but poor customer service as no apology given which made me cross!

“Authentic Middle eastern food with no frills!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014 via mobile

We went with kids and some friends. We were given a private dining cubicle which was brilliant. The food arrived quickly and the portions were a good size. Their feta cheese salad is amazing) a must have. Would dine their again. The service was excellent and pleasant. And it's reasonably priced too

“Excellent authentic dining”
Reviewed 25 April 2014 via mobile

We have been here twice, once with a groupon voucher, and then again to take family with us as we enjoyed it so much!

The food was excellent, although I would recommend staying clear of the mixed grill (a selection of grilled meat on a bed of rice) as there are much tastier choices available! The tagines for example are delicious, both lamb and chicken featuring massive hunks of meat, cooked to perfection.

The atmosphere was friendly and the staff were pleasant and helpful, always a good sign.

“Nice decor un eatable food ”
Reviewed 21 April 2014 via mobile

Visited here with my friends as we taste the restaurants in Birmingham
The look and the decor of the Resturant was nice and great but got nothing to do with the food which was like plastic "I ordered mix grill" and my friend ordered Yemeni food which tasted like cow discharge (apologise for the language) the staff was friendly and they give us 25% discount as they know they kebab is tasteless

I won't go there again nor recommend it to any of my friends
