Brilliant place to visit with or without the nippers. Loads of exhibits and activities and plenty of information to be absorbed. Will definitely be going back.

We all enjoyed the day here. I came with my ten yr old son and a friend and her son. So much for the boys to do most of the fun was had being able to do things. The use of gadgets and modern techno stuff was a great tool for them to remember being there. Lots of facts and games to keep their attention. Friendly staff all so good with the kids. Stayed most of the day and they want to go back.

My little boy loved this place - especially the kids city. I, however, was not as impressed. From what i remember of the old science museum there was a lot more science!! it was a lot more interactive and you could do little science xperiments that were great fun. This new science museum is based more around technology and no natural sciences. My little boys favourite part of the whole day though was the recycling area - he currently loves recycling at the moment so this was no suprise!! The one thing i was impressed by was the planetarium - lovely show!! although my little boy go bored half way through.

It was an ok day out and i'm glad i had a voucher - which you can get if travelling by bus or train on their websites.

Teens and adults do not get as much out of the museum as younger kids. The content is good, but not as advanced as a teen might need. It is expensive, too.

Brilliant day out. Both me and my partner enjoyed it loads to do however comfy shoes are essential! The interactive displays are brilliant and great fun along with being informative. The small games on the way round were fun and became a bit of a competition. The staff were helpful I would recommend this site its worth a visit
