Have stayed a few times in this hotel over the years when visiting family. Always been good value but not so much now they have reduced the child age. We have a 15 & 17 year old so would have to buy 2 rooms now ....ok when on offer but not at £70 a room. Hotel is dated now and needs a referb although the rooms were clean, beds comfy, plenty tea, coffee, soap & clean towels.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Hotel will be a good stop over point for couples and those with young Children

Room Tip: can be noisey with traffic on front rooms but nothing too bad.........didnt keep us awake.

Stayed at this PTI on Good Friday for a family break.
As from previous experience with PTI excellent customer service and the normal good standard of room.
Excellent location for Cabury's World and West Midlands Safari Park.
Also within short walking distance is Hollywood Bowl and Cinema, plus Frankie & Bennies / Chequettos etc.
We ate at the adjacent pub for evening meal and breakfast. No complaints at all.
Just one point to note and perhaps PTI can expain.. there were three security staff on the door by 19:00. Not sure is this is normal for the area ??

After the disaster of our first night of our honeymoon I was hopefully that this stay would be better but alas it was not!
The bath had someone's hair on the side and in the plughole! The glasses were filthy and the room was freezing even with the temperature set to 23!
I could not wait to get up in Sunday morning and Leave and I will most definitely think twice about using any premier inn again! I complained to them direct about our first nights stay an this did not even warrant a reply from premier inn at all!

Helpful staff, large room for the UK. Had a family room and the double bed was big compared to some hotel double beds. The kids each had a single. All beds were comfortable. The night was quiet except when the extractor fan was on in the bathroom.
In the morning the breakfast was OK but not as great as the pictures looked; the orange drink was watery, there were no muffins, but you could eat your fill.
We'd stay again.

Good clean hotel with friendly service. Good place to stay if you need to visit Birmingham. Close to QE hospital and is just of the Bristol Rd. lots of restaurants, and things to do nearby. Parking is also free which is a bonus.

Hotel in fairly good position for access into Birmingham by car. Nearby restaurants, leisure facilities and Morrisons handy. Good-sized, clean and comfortable rooms. Staff in reception/housekeeping and in restaurant very helpful and friendly. Breakfast deal with children eating free really good value. First time in a Premier Inn and will definately book again in future.

Chose this hotel rather than the Halesowen one which would have been closer to the friends we were visiting due to TA comments about dampness in rooms of the other hotel. It was a good choice as the room was very good, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good too and I cannot understand some of the previous comments about their poor breakfasts! Hotel staff we encounterd were friendly and knowlegeable too. The only minor comment was the bathroom light was very dim and had to be continuously supplemented by the mirror light being turned on too. Will use Premier Inn again as you cannot knock the value for money.
